FAQs
How long do dried flowers last?
Dried flowers last for at least 6 months up to 1 year in their original state. They can even go much longer if taken care of properly. Some of the flowers I use are stabilised and do not perish at all. They are called everlasting flowers or forever flowers for a good reason!
Did you dry the flowers yourself?
A large part of the flowers, grasses, and palms we use in our work are dried in our atelier. They are locally grown, cut and dried after which we can use them for your bouquets and arrangements! We also import dried and stabilised flowers from Europe as we prefer to have more variety and colours.
How to maintain dried flowers?
Flowers and grasses that are dried and stabilised are super easy to maintain and almost care-free. However there are some tips and tricks to make them last even longer! Do not put them in the windowsill or in direct sunlight (especially in Morocco) as the sun is too harsh and colours may fade. Shake them out from time to time to not let the dust settle and keep them in a dry, ventilated room (preferably not too humid like a bathroom).
Do you also sell fresh flowers?
Yes! We love fresh flowers and sell custom-made bouquets and compositions. You can order online or stop by the shop in Gueliz, Marrakech to pick up your bouquet. For deliveries of fresh flower arrangements, we only deliver in and around Marrakech.
Do you also sell outside of Morocco?
For now, I only sell in Morocco. I do sell wholesale or take bespoke orders from clients outside of Morocco, and are very open to discuss if you have any enquiry! Please don’t hesitate to say hi by DM on Instagram or send me an email at: thebloomroom.marrakech@gmail.com so we can talk about the different possibilities.
Do you deliver to other Moroccan cities?
Yes, we ship to all Moroccan cities throughout the country (fresh flowers excluded). We send our packages with MTR Messagerie until your address or to the MTR agency in your city. Costs depend on your package weight.
